“Game Zone”: dance as a game

On the 1st of November Totem Art Space invites everyone who wants to not only watch contemporary dance, but to take part in its creation.

Game Zone is an attempt to see dance as a play of human bodies, time and space, an attempt to turn every spectator into a performer.

“Everyone likes to play – but not all are satisfied with the outcome of the game”, - says the choreographer Anton Safonov. “But what if we give the audience a chance to not only watch the dance, but to change the way the performance ends?”

Every spectator will receive simple guidelines, which will remain in force for the whole performance. This way, the audience will be able to influence both a separate performer and the end of the piece, making the game truly unpredictable.

Professional dancers make the show intriguing and entertaining. The performance on Sunday, the 1st of November, will bring on stage Yaroslav Kaynar, Alyona Dubovaya, Kristina Slobodyanyuk and Anton Safonov.

How the audience can influence the performance and change the way it ends? Join the event on the 1st of November to find out!
